G-soy Sauce Bottle Small | White

Released in 1958, the award winning Hakusan G-Soy Sauce bottle has been made over 60 years withiout any change in design of manufacturing method. The inside is finished with white porcelain so contents can be easily seen. It features a stable base, easy-to-grip shape, a wide opening to allow for an easy fill and a spout designed to prevent dripping. The lid features a small vent that you can block with your finger to control the pour of the sauce. This is a great bottle for any light sauces including vinegar or olive oil.

Hakusan Porcelain was founded in 1779 in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, and has existed in its current form since 1958. The city of Hasami has a 400-year tradition of ceramic production and many companies are still active there, mainly producing teacups and teapots. The local porcelain is renowned for its translucence and whiteness. Led by designer Masahiro Mori, Hakusan has been the leading porcelain producer in post-war Japan.
The company has a long history of producing high-quality porcelain products and has been awarded such honours as the “Good Design” and “Long Life Design” prizes. Hakusan porcelain exemplifies the simple elegance of Japanese design.

Hakusan porcelain is microwave and dishwasher safe. Avoid using on the stove top and ovens.

The handle has 'air holes' that are necessary for he manufacturing method. Water may enter through this hole and may drain out when in use. To prevent this make sure to drain with this hole facing down before using.
