Repair Services

At Keoma, we believe in giving the items you purchase from us a second life so you can enjoy them for longer. We've partnered up with trusted local workshops and authorised brand repairers, who specialise in repair and restoring apparel, footwear and bags.

FREITAG

In Melbourne, our Freitag store is an official Freitag Care Point.

For almost as long as FREITAG bags have been around, we’ve been extending their lives with a range of repair services. It doesn’t only make them more beautiful. It's more sustainable too, and therefore better in general.

HERE’S WHAT WE CAN PATCH UP*

  • Replacing sewn-on buckles, rings, screws and buttons
  • Repairing burst seams
  • Mending worn corners
  • Replacing Velcro fasteners and zips, bicycle inner tubes, straps and labels.
  • Rebuilding the colour of rips, worn spots and holes in the truck cover a.k.a. 're-tarp'

*PLEASE NOTE: Every tarp is a unique product, so we have to assess each one as it comes to us. The list above is only a guide: our tarp surgeons can patch up virtually anything and will do everything in their power to extend your unique product’s life.

WARRANTY REPAIRS

We’ll take care of all repairs free of charge in the first two years of purchase* (or the first three if you’ve registered your product).

*You just need to provide the receipt or show us your product registration as proof. This includes any Freitag product purchased internationally.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS

If your F-product has a few more years under its belt, if you no longer have the receipt or if you forgot to register it, you’ll have to pay for the repair service.

The costs for this are calculated according to the time and effort involved and lie between $40 to $130 AUD.

BIRKENSTOCK

For Birkenstock customers, we entrust our repairs to an authorised Birkenstock repair workshop located at the Birkenstock Store in Clifton Hill, Melbourne.

By repairing worn Birkenstocks, the Birkenstock workshop keeps on average 3713 pairs out of landfill each year. By maintaining and repairing your Birkenstocks, you can greatly extend the life of your shoes, which is kinder for both the environment and your wallet.
