Description

A simple take on the humble eggstand by Hakusan. The dish shaped eggstand makes it easy to stack, and is practical to use as you can put shells and or rest your spoons in its inner grooves. Designed by Masahiro Mori in 1960, production of the egg stand was revived after Hakusan received many requests.

Story Behind the Brand

Hakusan Porcelain was founded in 1779 in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, and has existed in its current form since 1958. Hakusan Porcelain Care Guide

Hakusan porcelain is microwave and dishwasher safe. Avoid using on the stove top and ovens.

The handle has 'air holes' that are necessary for he manufacturing method. Water may enter through this hole and may drain out when in use. To prevent this make sure to drain with this hole facing down before using.
