The Seljak Opal blanket is a luxurious, durable blanket for adventuring and homemaking, and everything in between. The Earth is like warm terracotta – and because each blanket is made with offcuts reflecting the production run before it, they may vary slightly in colour and texture.

Care for your blanket: Because this is a naturally antibacterial product, the easiest way to clean your blanket is to air it out by hanging it in the sun. Spot clean dirty marks and spills with lukewarm soapy water. If necessary, machine wash at maximum 30 degrees with a wool wash and hang dry. Reducing machine washing extends your blanket’s life and reduces energy and water consumption.
Since their launch of the Seljak brand, the Seljak sisters have since worked towards accelerating the transition towards a more circular economy. Their closed loop blankets are made from recycled merino wool offcuts from the factory floor of a wool mill in Tasmania - the oldest weaving mill in Australia. Using these offcuts to make blankets, they incorporated a closed loop system that uses the blankets for re-manufacture at the end of their life. For every ten blankets sold, Seljak Brand donates one to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Victoria. .
