Ekn Max Herre Grey Suede
Designed in collaboration with German musician Max Herre - Made by hand from organic materials.
The Max Herre is handmade from the finest oiled, vegetable-tanned nubuck Only the best materials are used to increase durability. We also increase by using the least amount glue possible, stitching the majority of the shoe.
The sole of this model is made of natural crepe. Being a natural product, crepe rubber reacts to temperatures, becoming softer in the warmth and stiffer in the winter. The shoe can be resoled.
The Max Herre is valued by our customers for its comfort and ability to be worn both classy and casual.
This style can run a little big. If you're in between sizes, we recommend you take one size smaller. If you have any sizing queries, feel free to get in touch!
Ekn footwear was founded as a viable alternative for a global footwear industry flooded with poorly fabricated synthetic shoes, harmful both to the environment and the people involved – fabrication workers and consumers. Therefore Ekn are not afraid to take responsibility for everyone involved in the process and experience of making, shipping and wearing our products. Each shoe is handmade by experienced Portuguese craftsmen, using biological materials - vegetable tanned lather, organic cotton, and recycled rubber - from the highest quality suppliers. There are zero harmful chemicals used in manufacturing process. Every style is produced in limited quantities to ensure minimal environmental impact and maximum attention to detail.
