Arizona Leather in White (Soft Footbed - Suede Lined)
The BIRKENSTOCK Arizona is a genuine classic that has been delighting wearers for decades. For many, it is the epitome of the BIRKENSTOCK sandal because of its iconic design. The upper of this unisex two-strap sandal can be individually adjusted to the wearer’s feet using two sturdy metal buckles – guaranteeing a good fit and firm support. The Arizona has for years been one of our most popular models of sandals worldwide. The variety of available materials and colours make the model a sandal for all walks of life.
Nubuck Leather Upper / Soft Footbed - Suede Lined Nubuck Leather is created by sanding the natural grain of the leather which gives a fine nap.
The Birkenstock Soft Footbed features an extra layer of cushioning foam built into our legendary footbed. A unique foam layer built from millions of microscopic air bubbles is inserted between the top layer suede footbed liner and the layers of cork and jute that make up the rest of the footbed. This ensures a cushioned yet firm foundation for immediate comfort and full arch support, built on the most solid foundation in footwear.
Many Birkenstock models are offered in two different widths; narrow or regular. Most people are suited to wearing a regular width fitting. The narrow fitting is designed for those who overall have slender feet. When trying on your Birkenstocks for the first time open all straps and step into the footbed. Close the straps comfortably, if correctly fitted you should have approximately 5mm of space at either end of your foot. Your feet should be able to move freely without your toes hitting the edge of the footbed. Adjust to your new shoes gradually, as they may introduce new movements to the muscles in your feet and legs. Although your shoes may feel rather rigid at first, their flexibility will increase with wear. Leather straps will become more supple and the footbeds will adjust slightly to your feet.
Birkenstock products are predominantly manufactured in Germany, with a focus on high quality, natural materials. A large proportion of the materials used to create Birkenstock footwear comes from sustainable sources, including cork, natural latex, jute, leather, wool feat, copper and brass. Given their durability, Birkenstock products are also sustainable by nature. Environmental protection has long been paramount at Birkenstock. Sustainability is an expression of the company’s corporate ethos rather than a marketing trend. Birkenstock’s environmentally friendly operations reflect this commitment, with the brand constantly working to improve its production processes, products, packaging and logistics.
